Your Work Space

Your sanctuary...
Even very fabulous artist need an equally fabulous workspace, right? So what makes your workspace a wonderful area for you to be creative in? Every workspace should be functional (because if its not, what’s the point?) and every space is as unique as the artist themselves. What works and feels

right for one may not feel right for another. Its such a personal choice (and a great excuse to shop!)

Regardless of size, a workspace should be functional, inspirational, comfortable, and FUN! It needs to be a place where you want to go, not where you HAVE to go. So, for functionality, it should have the tools of your given trade in working order (no broken staplers allowed!), some storage space, and enough room for you to be comfortable doing what you love to do. Inspiration, on the other hand, can come in any form.

It can be a poster on a wall, the most fabulous color of your choice, photos of friends and family, or anything else your little heart desires. But make sure it makes your mind MOVE. Make it comfortable by adding a favorite chair or a rug, a coffee maker (the elixir of life and long nights), and maybe a radio for background music (and rockin’ out). Above all, make this space fun and enjoyable to be in. It doesn’t have to be all business all the time. Add a funky color to the walls, a chalkboard to doodle on when creativity hits the proverbial brick wall, or a set of drums to bang out your frustrations on. Anything goes because this is YOUR space.
So, we hope this gives you some inspiration and motivation to make the work space of your dreams. Dare to be unique! We’d love to see them when you are done!
